We are so glad you are seeking information about our church! We want you to know how to connect with our church and we work hard to make sure it is an easy process. When you come to First Baptist Church we do not single you out or put you on the spot. We respect you and your family and want you to enjoy your visit with us.
Visiting FBC Robertsdale
Our Sunday School begins at 9:15AM, visitors are more than welcome, and our Worship Service begins at 10:30AM.
Where do I go?
Here at FBC Robertsdale, we love new people! As such, we strive to make your experience with us, the absolute best it can be. When you arrive at church, the best place to find information is at our Connect Table located in our lobby. If you have any questions, or require any assistance, please see one of our Guest Relations Volunteers. It is their job to greet you, help you find where you need to be, and help you in any way that they can! Our conversation starts with the Connect Card. This is how we know you were here, and where you indicate to us your interest in more information about our church. The connect card is in the back pocket of the chairs in the sanctuary.
What Should I Wear?
Our church is a wonderful blend of traditional and contemporary. We have people of all ages who wear various styles of dress to church. If you wear blue jeans, you won't be alone, and if you wear a suit, you'll find you won't be alone either. We want you to be comfortable on your visit to our church!
What Happens at church on Sundays?
Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:15AM each week, and is a large part of our Sunday Morning gathering. We have classes for all ages that meet on our main campus. Children's Sunday school? Yes! Youth and Young Adults? We have those too! Whether you are 4 years old, or 70 years old, there is a place for you to come, fellowship with fellow believers, and learn from the timeless truth of God's Word. (see chart below)
Worship
Our largest gathering, as a church, takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:30AM when we gather to Worship the Lord. Our worship leader, Steve Lacey, does a phenomenal job of blending variety styles of worship music to lead us to encounter Jesus. . The result is an energetic style of worship that connects with the Heart of God's Word as we all Worship the King of Kings! Besides Worship in Song, we take up our Tithes and Offerings (something our members do weekly), we spend dedicated time in prayer corporately, and Pastor Jeff speaks from God's Word.
Preaching
Pastor Jeff has been the Senior Pastor of our church for over 20 years. In that time he has faithfully served our faith family and our community by teaching the timeless truth of God's Word. From an expositional study of the book of Acts, to a topical series of the Basic Disciplines of the Faith, Jeff has always been able to relate the Truth of God's Word to His people.
Our entire service is typically over by 11:45 PM.

Where do my Kids go?
Arriving on Campus:
We have an incredible team of volunteers and staff that work with our little ones at FBC Robertsdale! Their safety is paramount, and we strive to make their environments fun, engaging, and most of all, Biblical. If you're visiting for the first time, enter the front doors of our church and go to the connect table. There, a Pastor or Greeter can escort you to our secured children's wing where each of your children will register and receive a Lambslist name tag with a matching parent tag. This way, we know your children are safe, if they have medical needs we have their information (allergies, etc), and we also know who is picking them up.
Nursery:
We have a nursery for children under 3 where background checked, trained childcare workers love and care for your children while you are in the worship service. We have at least two workers in each nursery, so that your child receives the care and attention he/she deserves, while you are free to experience times of worship and teaching uninterrupted.
Sunday School:
During the 9:15AM Sunday School time, we have Sunday School classes for all age groups. (see the adult classes below, the children meet in the Wharf of Worship for their age graded classes, likewise the teens meet upstairs in the Upper Room.)
During Worship: (both groups come to worship with parents and are dismissed before message)
Children's Church is a specially planned time for those kids ages 3-5 (who are potty trained). During the adult worship service, these little ones have a time of teaching, singing, crafts, etc. geared to their learning needs.
Kids Cove is a children's worship time for our school-aged kids. K5-6th graders are invited to a time of worship that mirrors our adult service. They sing, read the Bible, listen to a time of teaching, play games, and engage in a lesson designed specifically for them.
