About Serve Ukraine
Serve Ukraine is a joint effort of FBC Robertsdale, FBC Tuscaloosa, Kingdom Bridges Ministries, and nearly 25 other churches across the USA and Canada. Daily we work on getting desperately needed supplies to Ukraine, helping children and women flee the war, providing or Ukrainians in the refugee centers and supporting pastors and churches in their calling.
Serve Ukraine is operated by the team of pastors from Alabama who have traveled to Ukraine and have partnerships with the local churches in Ukraine. We serve with a commitment that 100 % of raised funds go to Ukraine!

The Situation on the Ground
The war in Ukraine is horrible. Millions have lefts their homes. The supply chains are destroyed causing food and gas shortages. People lost their jobs. Women lost their husbands in war. Retired people live on 75 USD pension while the cost of groceries is similar to US. The situation is dire in the areas where the Russians have military operations, especially in the South and in the East. The Ukrainians are fighting back, holding their ground, being outnumbered, and outgunned. There is a real humanitarian catastrophe facing Ukraine. That’s why we want to help.
We are in contact with our church partners all across Ukraine, orphan network, and many families in Ukraine and Moldova. The churches in Ukraine are standing firm, loving people, caring for their needs, and pointing them to Jesus. Many people are coming to find food, comfort, love, and prayer.
Like us, if you're tired of sitting in anger watching this war and want to do something now, you can. We need your help. We are asking you to partner with us in acting to alleviate suffering. You can by continuing to pray. We also need people to give generously. Our church, First Baptist Robertsdale, will get every dollar you give to the field to meet needs, show love, and provide for those hurting. Please consider donating, whether it's $25 that covers a day for a refugee or a month at $750. Some may be able to give well beyond those amounts. We trust the Lord will lead you, and we can assure as we have done faithfully for twenty years, what you give will go directly to those suffering. You can give using the button below. It's time to do something: pray, give or share. It will make a differnece. Thanks again for your concern, love and prayers.

“Serve Ukraine has been important to me and our Church family because it has given us a way to directly support the people that we know and love in Ukraine. When the war started, I felt so helpless to think about what my friends and our partner Church were going through and not having a way to help them. Serve Ukraine changed that.
Now we have an avenue to support our partner Church directly and get relief to the people who need it the most. It also created an avenue for Churches and individuals to support the work going on in Ukraine. The most important thing about Serve Ukraine is it doesn't exist only to support relief efforts but to also make sure people are hearing the Gospel as the relief is provided” – Josh Lilly, Interim Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Robertsdale, Al. “Serve Ukraine has offered our church an additional, productive, and efficient financial pipeline through which we have been able to provide direct assistance and supplies to evangelical churches in Ukraine that are serving, sheltering, feeding, clothing, providing medical care, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands of people being adversely affected by the Russian invasion.
Our church has also been very impressed with the trustworthy accounting procedure and regular reporting back to our church family of how our financial contributions are being used on the ground. I would highly recommend that any church prayerfully consider a partnership with Serve Ukraine.” - Dr. Gil McKee, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Al |
It is not a coincidence that I was in the USA before the beginning of the war in Ukraine. When the war broke out, I made a decision to evacuate my family to the USA and thus started our involvement with Serve Ukraine. I feel honored to coordinate these efforts from the USA and deliver timely assistance to my people.
Slavik Rimski - Serve Ukraine Coordinator "I spent over two weeks on the ground in Moldova and Ukraine during the first weeks of the war. What I encountered was surreal. Thousands were waiting in lines as long as fifteen miles to escape war in Ukraine. Most empty buildings became shelters for refugees. In Ukraine, cities were besieged, surrounded, and cut off from essential supplies. These sights were heartbreaking. I also saw beauty. The church in Ukraine and Moldova were the first on the scene. They rose to the occasion to transport refugees, feed the hungry, give shelter to the homeless, and provide desperately needed supplies in Ukraine. They were able to do this because you gave. Whenever a church needed resources to carry out its ministry, Serve Ukraine was there to meet the need. When asked if we could help, I was able to say yes, because of your faithful support of Serve Ukraine. The needs are still present; many are worse than in the first weeks of the war. Thanks for your faithfulness. Please keep praying for the people of Ukraine. If you can help us continue serving the people of Ukraine, consider giving; when you give, all you give goes to the need. Serve Ukraine is a partnership of over twenty churches, non-profits, and thousands of people like yourself. Our goal is to serve in Jesus' name those suffering from this unjust, evil war.”
