Who we are:
At FBC Robertsdale, we are Passionate about Jesus. From our singing together, to our fellowship together, we have a central purpose, making much of the Name of Jesus. Founded 95 years ago, right here in Robertsdale, our church has a history of serving Christ and those around us in our community. We believe that God has called us to make Disciples of all people, and that starts right here in our own back yard!
Our purpose can be broken down into our three pillars of ministry: Loving. Growing. Going.
We are called to be a church that loves. Loving one another is one of the greatest commands of Jesus, and we strive to live out His command in our church and in our everyday lives. For us this means loving one another, our faith family, and striving to make anyone in our church feel loved, welcomed, and at home. But it also means that we are to be Christ's love to a world that is lost and in need of Jesus. So we also strive to love our community and our neighbors with the Love of Jesus.
We are called to be a church that Disciples people. At FBC Robertsdale, we don’t focus on the numbers of people in our church. We believe that we are called to be obedient disciple-makers; God supplies the multiplication. Each of us, from youngest to oldest, should have someone pouring into our lives, and we should be pouring into the lives of others! We model this by investing in one another, people of all ages, growing and strengthening one another in Christ Jesus.
We are called to be a church that intentionally spreads the Good news of Jesus Christ. Our church has always been missional. In the last year alone we sent out the single largest number of missionaries to overseas ministry in the history of our church, and our project CARE ministry here in Robertsdale has helped over 1000 people this year alone. But we also know that our job isn’t over; we are in an ongoing battle to win this world for Christ. That is why we are still on mission, targeting our neighborhoods, community, and world with the good news of Christ!
