Help is on the way
We are gearing up to head out on our first feeding trip to Louisiana following Hurricane Ida. We are getting our food together, readying our equipment and enlisting our volunteers. Our first meal will be served this Friday at lunch. We plan to serve Friday through Sunday our goal is to feed 5,000 meals. We ask you to help us help those recover from Ida's destruction. You can help by praying, volunteering to go on a trip, or making a donation to help us purchase food for our feedings. This year food cost has increased up to 50 percent. It will cost us more than ever to feed those in need. This is our seventeenth year of Disaster Relief Ministry. Our church has been active since Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Last year, we fed around 20,000 meals to those impacted in Lake Charles, La and our own community following Sally. You've been so faithful in helping us for over 15 years. We know the Lord will provide through your prayers, volunteering, and giving.
